CDCP as a Service

BBT Software AG (BBT) offers you a certified data collection point (CDCP) as an additional service. Background: With the introduction of Diagnosis-Related Groups (DRG) flat rates for the payment of inpatient hospital stays, hospitals and physicians have been obliged since 1 April 2014 to transmit administrative and medical patient data – at the same time as the invoice – exclusively to insurer-certified data collection points. Hospital invoices (DRG invoices) are therefore sent to payers together with a Minimal Clinical Dataset (MCD). In addition to administrative data, MCDs contain the medical patient data required for invoice control. This data is particularly sensitive, which is why its protection must be guaranteed at all times. BBT’s certified data collection point ensures strict compliance with all data protection regulations for the processing of MCD and DRG invoices at all times.
